  • Mailbox Customers (individuals making payments for mailbox services), and
  • Mail Centers / CMRAs (businesses using the Platform to accept payments)

By accessing or using PayMyMailbox.com, you agree to these Terms.

2. Definitions

  • Platform: PayMyMailbox.com website and related services.
  • Mailbox Customer: A user making payments for mailbox services.
  • Mail Center: A business providing mailbox services and using the Platform.
  • Payment Processor: A third-party provider, including Stripe.
  • Services: Payment facilitation tools provided by PayMyMailbox.com.

3. Nature of the Service

PayMyMailbox.com is a technology platform only.

We:

  • Provide tools that enable Mail Centers to accept payments from their customers
  • Facilitate communication and payment workflows

We do not:

  • Act as a bank, financial institution, or money transmitter
  • Process, receive, hold, or transfer funds
  • Act as the merchant of record
  • Become a party to any transaction between Mailbox Customers and Mail Centers

All payments are made directly between the Mailbox Customer and the Mail Center via their chosen payment processor.

4. No Agency or Partnership

PayMyMailbox.com operates as an independent service provider.

Nothing in these Terms creates:

  • A partnership
  • A joint venture
  • An agency relationship
  • A fiduciary duty

between PayMyMailbox.com and any Mail Center or Mailbox Customer.

5. Eligibility

By using the Platform, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You have the authority to enter into a legally binding agreement

Section A - Terms for Mailbox Customers

6. Payments

  • All payments are processed directly by the Mail Center using its own account with a third-party processor such as Stripe
  • PayMyMailbox.com is not involved in processing payments

You acknowledge that:

  • The Mail Center is the merchant of record
  • The Mail Center controls all pricing, billing, and service terms

7. Refunds and Disputes

  • All refund requests must be directed to the Mail Center
  • PayMyMailbox.com does not issue refunds or handle disputes

Any disputes related to:

  • Charges
  • Service quality
  • Mailbox access

must be resolved directly with the Mail Center.

8. Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for providing accurate:

  • Mailbox number (PMB)
  • Contact information
  • Payment details

PayMyMailbox.com is not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect information.

9. No Guarantee of Service

PayMyMailbox.com does not guarantee:

  • Mailbox availability
  • Service quality
  • Delivery or handling of mail

All services are provided solely by the Mail Center.

Section B - Terms for Mail Centers

10. Account Responsibility

Mail Centers agree to:

  • Provide accurate business and pricing information
  • Maintain account security
  • Ensure proper configuration of their services

11. Payment Processing Responsibility

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are the merchant of record
  • You are solely responsible for:
    • Payment processing
    • Chargebacks
    • Refunds
    • Taxes and compliance
    • Fraud prevention

All transactions are processed through your account with Stripe or another supported provider.

12. Chargebacks, Fraud, and Disputes

Mail Centers are fully responsible for:

  • Handling all chargebacks
  • Responding to payment disputes
  • Managing fraudulent transactions

PayMyMailbox.com:

  • Has no role in dispute resolution
  • Has no access to or control over transaction decisions

13. Pricing and Fees

Mail Centers are solely responsible for:

  • Setting pricing
  • Applying late fees or penalties
  • Communicating terms to customers

PayMyMailbox.com does not validate or enforce pricing.

14. Compliance

Mail Centers must comply with:

  • Federal, state, and local laws
  • USPS CMRA regulations (including Form 1583 requirements)
  • Consumer protection laws

15. Customer Data

Mail Centers agree to:

  • Use customer data only for legitimate business purposes
  • Protect customer information
  • Comply with applicable data privacy laws

16. Misuse of the Platform

Users may not:

  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Misrepresent services or pricing
  • Attempt to bypass payment systems

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for misuse.

17. Payment Processing Disclaimer

All payments are processed by third-party providers such as Stripe.

PayMyMailbox.com:

  • Does not store credit card information
  • Does not process or control transactions
  • Does not guarantee payment authorization or settlement

We are not responsible for:

  • Payment failures
  • Processor errors
  • Bank or card network issues

18. Service Availability

The Platform is provided on an “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee:

  • Continuous availability
  • Error-free operation
  • Uninterrupted access

We are not liable for downtime, delays, or system interruptions.

19. Data Security Disclaimer

We implement reasonable safeguards to protect data.

However, we do not guarantee:

  • Protection from unauthorized access

Use of the Platform is at your own risk.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PayMyMailbox.com shall not be liable for:

  • Actions or omissions of any Mail Center
  • Payment disputes or chargebacks
  • Service interruptions
  • Loss of data, revenue, or business
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

If liability is found, it shall be limited to the greater of:

  • Amount paid to PayMyMailbox.com in the past 3 months, or
  • $100 USD

21. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PayMyMailbox.com from any claims arising from:

  • Your use of the Platform
  • Violations of these Terms
  • Disputes between Mail Centers and Mailbox Customers

22. Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate access
  • Remove accounts that violate these Terms

23. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time.

Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

24. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.
